Houseoflanka.com offers a no-quibble guarantee on all purchases, on-line, and telephone orders. This is a full product replacement or money refund guarantee, and does not effect your statutory rights as a consumer in any way.

• All House of Lanka Products as depicted on this web site (which may vary from time to time) are available in Sri Lanka only; check for delivery locations
• All House of Lanka Products are subject to availability. In the event of any supply difficulties, we reserve the right to substitute an House of Lanka Product of equivalent value and quality without notice
• In the event that we are unable to supply the House of Lanka Product or any substitute product at all to you, we shall notify you as soon as is reasonably possible and shall reimburse your payment in full, in any event no later than 30 days after the intended delivery date
• To avoid the problem of substitution always try to order 2 days prior to delivery
• Wrapping materials and minor substitutions will be made without notice
• We will phone or e-mail you regarding major substitutions; if you are unavailable we will wait for your instructions until the very last minute. If you have not contacted us in the time frame to deliver your order on the delivery date specified, we will act with our best intentions and let you know by e-mail as to what we have altered.
Prices
• Prices listed within the House of Lanka Service are valid for a maximum of 14 days from receiving your order form.
Orders and Payment
• You will be given clear instructions how to navigate the Order Form and you shall be required to provide your complete personal details, including accurate post code, together with those of the intended recipient plus all necessary payment details. We accept payment by all major credit and/or debit cards; other than Solo, Electron, Department Store cards and any other credit and/or debit cards as we may specify from time to time. By clicking on the 'Proceed' button on the Order Form, you are consenting to be bound by our terms and conditions, appearing elsewhere on the House of Lanka site.
• We will confirm your order details and advise you that we are processing your purchase when we contact you.
• We cannot accept Order Forms from customers under the age of eighteen (18) years.
Delivery
• House of Lanka offer FREE delivery within its delivery locations. If you request delivery to remote areas which are not normally covered by House of Lanka, you can request by E-mail these locations and they will be considered.
• On acceptance by us of your Order Form we will advise you by e-mail confirmation of the intended delivery date. We will process Order Forms received on Sundays or Public Holidays the next working day.
• Incorrect personal details may lead to problems or delays in delivery, so before placing your order, please ensure that you have included the full address details, including accurate post code of the intended recipient and your daytime contact telephone number or e-mail address, so you can be notified in the event of any delivery problems encountered.
• In case of delivery to certain locations where a third party is involved, such as hospitals, wedding halls, hotels and ships, the signature of any person authorized to accept delivery on behalf of the organization, shall be accepted as proof of delivery to your chosen recipient.
Cancellation/Refunds
• Orders may be amended or cancelled up to 24 hours before the intended delivery date.
• House of Lanka guarantees a quality product and service to you our customer. If you are not fully satisfied with the service or product received, House of Lanka investigates all complaints thoroughly and refunds or product replacements will be given in the event of all genuine complaints. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
• We cannot be held responsible for incorrect information supplied by the customer. Once the delivery has been signed for at the given address it is no longer the responsibility of our company.

• Because of the perishable nature of some House of Lanka Products, and in order to assist us in resolving any complaints quickly to our mutual satisfaction, we advise you to make any complaint within 1 working day of the date of delivery, or intended delivery of your purchase.

• Whilst we agree to use all reasonable endeavors to ensure that the House of Lanka Site and/or the House of Lanka Service is fully operational and error-free. We cannot guarantee this, and therefore accept no responsibility for any defects and/or interruption of the House of Lanka Site and/or the House of Lanka Service.
